Winter Wonderland – St. Augustine, FL

Winter Wonderland is free and open to the public Monday through Friday from 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The ice skating rink is only $8 (skate rental is $2). Sleigh rides take place from 6-10 p.m. (adults $10, $4 for children). This winter extravaganza includes a 100 foot Ice Slide, winter games, an Elf village, onstage performances of the Quiltmaker’s Gift, lighted nature trails, Santa, s’mores on an open fire and much more. Indians of the Estuary Kayak tour – St Augustine, FL

Paddle back in time and discover the life ways of the Timucuan Indians and their relationship to the land that they loved. Explore the estuary from Washington Oaks State Park with a professional naturalist and enjoy stories about the Timucuans and the important role the Matanzas Estuary played in their everyday lives. Along our journey, we will stop at an island refuge and visit a Timucuan encampment and learn more about their clothing, shelter, hunting and fishing techniques, tools, weapons and the native foods that helped sustain them.
