Creatures of the Night – St. Augustine, FL

Come dressed in your favorite costume to the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park and we will provide the candy, a creepy creature experience, animal trading cards, and a great time! Young ghosts

and goblins can wander the wild walkway and encounter costumed animal keepers with creepy creatures and candy! There will be an alligator feeding show and a drawing for free annual passes and other prizes.

Cummer Concert Music Series – Jacksonville, FL

Ilya Yakushev received his first prize-winning award at age 12 in his native St. Petersburg, Russia. His tours and performances have had international success. He won the World Piano Competition in 2005 and his performance with the San Francisco symphony was included in the top ten music events of the year in 2007. Since 2002, he has served as the Executive Director of the International Keyboard Institute and Festival in Mannes. Reservations suggested.

River City Fusion at October Art Walk – Jacksonville, FL

It’s the 40th Anniversary of Consolidation and River City Fusion, an ensemble of the St. Johns River City Band, will bring the music of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s to life in front of the Jacksonville Public Library during Art Walk. It will start at 5 pm and run until 9 pm at the Jacksonville Public Library Entrance.

The Band will also be selling tickets for their annual Taste the Music event. So come out and enjoy the fun!

Celebrate the 100th birthday of this legendary American bandleader, known as the “King of Swing,” “The Professor” and “Patriarch of the Clarinet” – the one and only Benny Goodman! To keep it in G, swing to Gershwin’s ever-popular Rhapsody in Blue with Jacksonville’s very own Scott Watkins. Event takes place at the Times-Union Center: Jacoby Symphony Hall from 8 pm to 10 pm.
