Charleston Tea Plantation is having a 5K Memorial Run/Walk to memorialize Theodorsa “Faye” Mitchell. She was born and lived her life on Wadmalaw Island, was a faithful church member and respected throughout the Wadmalaw community. She was employed for many years at the Charleston Tea Plantation. Ms. Faye died of lung cancer on September 23, 2006 while being treated at MUSC. We wish to donate funds raised on her behalf to MUSC for lung cancer research.
