Charleston Tea Plantation 5K Memorial Run/Walk – Charleston, SC

November 10, 2008 by etalentino

Charleston Tea Plantation is having a 5K Memorial Run/Walk to memorialize Theodorsa “Faye” Mitchell. She was born and lived her life on Wadmalaw Island, was a faithful church member and respected throughout the Wadmalaw community. She was employed for many years at the Charleston Tea Plantation. Ms. Faye died of lung cancer on September 23, 2006 while being treated at MUSC. We wish to donate funds raised on her behalf to MUSC for lung cancer research. We know the Wadmalaw Island residence will rally behind our efforts on Faye’s behalf. If you have any additional questions please call 843-559-0383 and ask for Stephen Fernandez.
