Topics will include safety and testing, research and development, archival nature of art and design materials, and up-to-the-minute changes in art and design.
Student roundtable discussions will be during the trade show in order to bring independent artists and professionals in the art and design materials industries together with students to talk candidly about the “real world†of art. Roundtables will be held at the Student Center, 120 Montgomery St.
The Arts Materials Trade Show events are coordinated by the SCAD School of Foundation Studies to fund student scholarships. The trade show exhibition hall and lectures are free and open to the public.
