Just Read Florida at Anastasia State Park - St Augustine, Florida

September 8, 2007 10:00 am. – 3:00 p.m.
Anastasia State Park will have a guest storyteller reading the exciting stories of Pelican Pete, who has adventures with other animals and the environment. State park rangers will give nature walks and a Sea Turtle program. Children will have a chance to read and explore all the natural wonders of Anastasia State Park.

10 a.m.- Pelican Pete Storytelling
11 a.m.- Nature Walk- on the boardwalk
1 p.m.- Turtle Story- with John Cheatwood
2 p.m.- Turtle Program- with Ranger Priscilla Brown
3 p.m.- Nature Walk- on the boardwalk
Each child will receive a bookmark and a booklet with an environmental theme to read and take home.
To receive free entrance to the parks visitors must: show a library card, show a checked out library book, or donate a family-appropriate book or pay admission.
