The vast maritime forests of the Grand Strand have virtually disappeared with the development of the 20th century. The South Carolina Heritage Trust Site at Myrtle Beach State Park protects a remnant of that forest. Touch, see, hear, and smell your way through this special forest as we learn about the diversity of plants and animals that call this unique and rare habitat home. We will walk about 1 mile as we enjoy a stroll down the Sculptured Oak Nature Trail. Appropriate for ages 12 and up.
Fee: $5 per person
