First Annual Aurora Jacksonville Black Arts Festival

The 1st Annual Aurora Jacksonville Black Arts Festival is a community outreach program of Stage Aurora Theatrical Company, Inc. whose goal is to produce ‘theatre that enlightens’. The Aurora Jacksonville Festival will feature many local and national artists in the Arts and Humanities including: T ‘Keyah Crystal Keymah (That’s So Raven, Cosby, In Living Color); Ella Joyce (Roc) in A ROSE AMONG THORNS; Encore performances of DREAMGIRLS; Florida Humanities Scholars Bob Devin Jones and Phyllis McEwen, Visual Artist Lauren Austin, and much more.

The Festival will feature many free events for the enjoyment of the entire family! Other events are offered at very low cost rates.

Children’s activities will include Face painting, music, and dance. It’s all at the Aurora Jacksonville Black Arts Festival July 24 -30, 2008.
