Southern Women’s Show – Savannah, GA
One of the most highly anticipated events in Savannah, the annual Southern Women’s Show, attracts thousands of local women each year for three jam-packed days of fashion shows, cooking demonstrations, beauty tips, health screenings, decorating ideas and personal growth opportunities — all tailored especially for women — as well as celebrity appearances.
This year’s show also promises more than 300 exhibitors ranging from boutiques and jewelers to travel agents and health care professionals and making it the perfect one-stop shop for on-the-go women.
While attendees are welcome to window shop, the hands-on, interactive nature of the Southern Women’s Show makes it the perfect opportunity to actually try out new products and services, consult with experts and register for prizes and giveaways.
On-site health screenings will enable women to undergo risk-factor assessments, with blood pressure, cholesterol, spinal screens and bone density checks.
Throughout the show, watch for live cooking demonstrations, seminars and fashion shows.
Show hours are Friday 10 a.m.–8 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Admission is $9 at the door, $5 for children 6–12 years old and free for children under 6 years of age. My wife does enjoy cooking demostration. She always attend to one here in UK. As soon as she arrive home, she would do her grocery and would usually prepare the recipe she have learned from the cooking demo. My wife does cook well, thanks for cooking demos like this.
I think this is very sad. The way the economy is and here you all want to charge $9.00 dollars before you get in the door. Oh excuse me if you buy early are a group you can get in for $7.00dollars What ever happen with the coupons were you can get 2.00 dollars off. In other words come spend all your hard earn money with us. We are what you call greedie people we can care less if you have food on your table,clothes on your kids back or shoes on there feet . Why can ‘t you all have something that doesn’t cost to get in . I’m sure there is alot of people who would love to come but can’t afford to get in the front or back door . Because (everything) you all have cost money before you can get in the door.It used to be $5.00 now its $9.00 dollars what if you had four or five poeple to come in that would be $40.00 or $50.00 dollars.How to you explain this .With todays ECONOMY know one can afford this . Please explain this.You all need to get a Life Please Get your self out of the CLOUDS.
