Festivall ‘08 in Charleston is expanding. It’s stretching from four days to ten next summer. The festival is planned for June 20-29, 2008. Some of the activities planned include the Water Chili Cook-off, as well as performances by the Charleston Opera and the West Virginia Symphony.
More than 30,000 people attended the last Festivall in Charleston and organizers are expecting a bigger crowd in 2008.
Hosted by the Flowertown Garden Club, join the Mayor and the Town of Summerville as they light up Summerville Town Hall and Hutchinson Square in Historic Downtown Summerville. Eleven wonderful homes surrounding the marsh in Murrells Inlet will open their doors for the holiday home tour. Murrells Inlet Presbyterian Church will also open their recently restored 1925 Little Memorial Chapel on Murrells Inlet Road. The tour runs for one day only on Saturday, December 8, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Advance tickets are $25 while supplies last.
