Ashley Hall Tour of Homes and Gardens – Charleston, South Carolina
Some of Charleston’s most beautiful private homes and gardens will be part of the annual Ashley Hall Tour of Homes and Gardens on Saturday, April 12, 2008, from 2:00-5:00pm. This tour offers a rare glimpse of some architecturally unique private dwellings and gardens that are not normally on display to the public. The tour takes place in the historic district and all the homes and gardens are within walking distance of each other.

Star Dancers from the New York City Ballet – Charleston, South Carolina

The Donizetti Variations; created for “Salute to Italy,” a New York City Ballet program celebrating the 100th anniversary of Italy’s unification. The Barber Violin Concerto; contrasts classical composure and modern sensibility. Western Symphony; Set on a rugged Old West street populated by cowboys and dance hall girls, Western Symphony nevertheless is very much a classical work.
