Shrimp & Grits: The Wild Georgia Shrimp Festival – Jekyll Island, Georgia
Shrimp & Grits: The Wild Georgia Shrimp Festival celebrates two classic southern foods – Shrimp and Grit. The festival is packed with fun, from a cooking competition for amateurs and professionals, live music, Family Fun Zone and arts, crafts, antiques and collectables, and more.
The festival opens on Friday, Sept. 14 at 5:00 p.m and continues over the weekend. 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 15 and 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16. Admission is free. The festival is brought to you by the Jekyll Island Authority and the Wild Georgia Shrimp Association 877-4-JEKYLL
