SCAD Sidewalk Arts Festival – Savannah, Georgia
The Savannah College of Art and Design presents the annual Sidewalk Arts Festival April 26, 2008. This popular event features a chalk drawing competition on the sidewalks of Savannah’s centerpiece, beautiful Forsyth Park. Drawing competition entries will be judged and awarded prizes. The event also includes food, and children’s and youth areas for young artists as well as live music throughout the day.
Admission is free and open to the public. The chalk competition features categories for students, alumni and prospective students.
