4th Annual La Posada a Mexican Christmas tradition! A brief Catholic Mass celebrated by Father Cletus of St. Francis Xavier followed by a portrayal of the traditional Mexican La Posada.The celebration concludes with a Fiesta with piñatas, dancing, and the traditional menu La Posada of tamales, beans, and rice.

Beach Blast Off 2008 – St Augustine, Florida

Kick off the new year at St. Augustine Beach! Start the celebration with a great meal. Many of St. Augustine’s  favorite restaurants serve up chili for tasting at the Fire and Ice Chili Cook-off from 3 to 7 p.m. You can also enjoy the icy art of professional ice sculptor, Mike Riesmeyer. Then it’s time for the highlight of the evening, the Fireworks begin at 7 p.m. You will have the best view in town from the beach. There is no better way to welcome the New Year! Admission is free. The Beach Blast takes place at St. Johns County Fishing Pier and Pavilion, A1A South in St. Augustine Beach.
